Promotion towards the development of the movie will increase its value and significance and will improve on qualities by showing it has more than just a movie behind it. Also promotion could lure viewers in but this is not my aim. It is to build depth to the movie and to control what people see before viewing the actual film. Little posters or images can show "teases" or leads which shall benefit it. Photography is also by myself set at the scene of the film.

Gorillaz DARE Storybard
Posted by Alex O'Reilly Friday, 14 November 2008 at 10:17 am
In my search for storyboards linking to movie and film promotion. I came accross this video from youtube of the music video DARE by Gorillaz. The storyboard shows what the artists designed for the video. The link bellow that, is the actual music video for the song DARE so the similarities can be seen easily. This will help show my understanding of what I have learnt about storyboards and it will also teach me how proffesional storyboards are designed and forefilled.

Max Payne and James Bond Posters
Posted by Alex O'Reilly Wednesday, 12 November 2008 at 10:08 am
This is a early poster of the new movie James Bond movie, Quantum of Solace which is categorized as a thriller action adventure. This movie theme, style and characteristic resembles the kind of movie/film I wish to produce. The shadow of James Bond is there to be mysterious and keep viewers guessing on what the movie could be about.
This film poster is of Max Payne meant to be seen as a graffiti spray stensil on a wall. This relates back to the style of the games which the movie was based upon and this also shows the kind of theme I would want to use.
