Research and Development

In accordance to my film project, I have been researching the genre I have been using in place to help it improve my film by using techniques from other famous directors. From the movies 28 days and weeks later and cloverfield POV/handheld shots are used which I feel strong about using but will not dominate the movie. This will help the audience feel more connected to the movie, seeing what they see and possibly feel but I will mix it in with other shots as stated in the plan eg. birds and worms eye view.

Film Closeline

Coming close to the end of finishing my movie, I will be filming again tonight at 4:00-4:30 for the dark effect to be present. One thing which worried me was that each day would get brighter but as the filming period for the movie is short, this will not matter. I plan to finish filming soon to get a start on my editing and evaluation and give me enough time to receive feedback to improve the film. My film schedule is to be consistant and on a basis of the same time each day.

Film Cast

My film cast may not need to be specific but they will be chosen to fit the role to fit the film. I will use cast selection to make the film set at the highest quality it can be and I will use use of clothes and setting to make the film suit the genre.

Unedited Film Mock

Here is some filming I have used to put together a first sample of the section of area I will be using in my final production of film. The camera quality is not as good as it will be and a tripod was not used to steady the camera so this will give an idea of what the film will be about but not was quality is to come of the final production. This sample has not been edited apart from stringing the shots together. I may upload the same shots again in future edited to give a better image of my editing skills before my final.

Problems

Over the break I have managed to lose my tape containing my movie so I will be filming what I have lost and uploading onto my blogger. I will then assess this and correct it so that it meets audience standards and has the required gender implimented. I will use feedback to assess this.
