This camera angle taking the still from the movie Max Payne shows 3 characters. The angle is directed on the main character, but also captures the image of one other character making them less important. The light is shot from the right hand side of the image making a contrast against the light. The colours used variey from each character suggesting that each role is played to their personality.
This shot also shows main character with an offset character behind him. Again light is shown heavily on the character's face in a dark environment showing a contrast to the character's personality. The shot is taken as a medium close up and shows the character's waist upwards showing the awquad body language and possible tension.
This still was taken from the side of the character in a light and dark contrast. The meaning of the shot was to show a sexy character in contrast with a gun which is meant for killing. This is meant to show the whole concept of the movie sticking dark on light to give a different appeal and feeling. Also again the shot is taken from the waist upwards showing the chacter's facial expressions but not showing of the character is standing. This way we can't predict what the character is going to do aswell but we can see a closer look at their facial exspressions or good looks.
